In reply to Miles Erickson. Probably miss the announcement about 9 months ago. But the partner and Alaska miles are the same for status earning it going forward now. 20, 40, 75, 100k. Alaska's IT is just shit, and they haven't updated the trackers properly.

Beware: I just received 15K EQM via this offer and they were credited to “Year-to-date Alaska/partner qualifying miles” instead of “Year-to-date Alaska miles” — so if you normally earn status by flying Alaska, this might not get you closer.

Can you share your source for this? The offers that were sent out yesterday were targeted and when I called Alaska today as a Alaska credit card holder I was told I dont qualify
