Time and again, we have been well-served knowing that “we belong to someone”, while there. On one occasion before electronic payments, we everted disaster when my husband lost our only credit card (total novices then). Our travel agency in the capital city still had our credit card info on file so they rushed us a big cash advance that allowed us to finish our trip. In Jordan, 6 years ago, our local agent rushed to help us when we were ripped off by a horseback riding con artist. He got our money back and gave the guy a satisfying chew out. These are just a few of several stories.
