There are a number of reasons why you can’t see it.
(1) ANA can only be used to book round-trip flights, and maybe you’re searching for a one-way ticket.
(2) United sometimes shows more expensive anytime awards for more miles, even on partner airlines. ANA does not. Only saver awards will be visible.
(3) Maybe you have too many connections. ANA limits the number of permitted connections on an award.
(4) Maybe ANA just doesn’t see it for some other reason. You can try calling ANA to book it.

I’ve waitlisted twice and they didn’t clear. I called to cancel and there were no charges. Have a backup.

I find NH agents are not only courteous, but very well informed on all the routing rules and pricing. Two weeks ago I booked on their SJC-NRT route to get to Asia on their 787 – I’m looking forward to the Ippudo ramen!

Big fan of ANA here, the revamped site is easy to use and they have really flexible award booking policies

The price quoted is correct. Japan (Zone 1-B, because more than one segment each way) to Singapore (Zone 4) is 63,000 miles round-trip in business class as a partner award.

http://www.ana.co.jp/wws/us/e/asw_common/amc/reference/tukau/teikeiair_1.html

Zone 1-A to Zone 4 (non-stop travel) would be 35,000 miles in economy class as a partner award, but this is not economy class and Zone 1-A rules do not apply.

Zone 1 to Zone 4 would be 30,000 to 38,000 miles in economy class as an ANA award, depending on seasonality. But again, this is not economy class and it’s not an ANA award.

Is that a mistake or I’m not reading this right?

I don’t have experience waitlisting an award on ANA. The general consensus on FlyerTalk is that most waitlists do not clear.

As for booking and canceling a waitlisted award:

— I assume that if they debit miles from your account and you cancel voluntarily, then you will need to pay a fee (3,000 miles) to get them returned to your account.

— If the waitlist expires and you have not cleared, then I assume ANA would return the miles to your account without a fee.

— If ANA doesn’t debit the miles until after you clear the waitlist, then you have nothing to worry about.

Do you think I will make pass waitlisted (screenshot)? Just missing 1 seat each leg. How long usually is the wait? If I book and cancel the waitlisted, would I still get charged 3000 miles/person? Thanks.
