I’ve flown premium economy (A380) the last three times I’ve traveled to Oz with the last trip in 2015 and another planned for later in 2018. On all three of those previous round-trips we were not allowed to use the business class restrooms and had to use the upper deck economy class restroom (couldn’t even step foot into the business section!). If that has changed…noting the story was written in 2016…then that’s a plus for premium economy passengers!

Thanks for posting as I am taking the same DFW-SYD roundtrip on Quantas’s A-380 and was trying to decide if the upgrade was worth it. Loved the plethora of photos, too. SOLD!!!

Flown pe numerous times, fully agree. Just wish they would offer $5000 business class. $8000 is rich.
