Not only Business Class long haul, but on a flight in Premium Economy, the middle seat is vacant, we had a “snack” which was better than almost any lunch we’ve had on a flight from Buenos Aires to Santiago. Love this airline.

In reply to Emily. You will do customs/immigration in Canada. Assuming your trip was all booked on one ticket, your bags should be checked all the way through. If that's the case, you do not need to clear security again. You can just follow the signs to T7 and go straight to your next flight.

The new terminal at PTY is nice but amazing how poor the food choices are there. Hoping they open some more. We had a 5+ hour layover at Xmas and found the only restaurant with decent seating in the entire airport seemed to be an Olive Garden in Terminal 1.

I land from Canada in Terminal 6 (air Canada) at 20:59. Board Terminal 7 (United airlines) 22:43 (1 hour 44 minutes). Does this work? I would have to do customs but do I have to redo secuirty as well?

I have guests arriving from Japan to LAX 8:30am and connecting to Denver on United Air departing 12:50pm. I am supposed to meet them at the exit (TBIT) and assist them to transit. Do they still need to follow the “transit passengers” sign? if so, where can they meet them?

I visited the lounge in February and April. I also found the lounge manager to be welcoming and proactive. Agree that he is very knowledgeable about wine. I take the earlier flight and avoid the A380. Lounge is much less crowded (if it is not delayed) and it boards directly from the lounge.

I’ve been through this lounge many times. The last time was this past September. The lounge is nice but it always gets full of passengers, so it is not tranquile like the First Class section. The food is decent and the service is good, but not relaxing because it is full of people. My wife said to just skip the BA lounge next time we fly BA and eat at one of the restaurants outside the lounge since they are not as crowded. I think the United lounge at this airport is nicer. In the old days when we didn’t have much money, we loved going to the lounges. But now, a lounge has to be better than the restaurants outside of it for us to want to go there. Plus, airport restaurants are not that expensive.

A BBC article states that the Gandhi statue represents love and tolerance as a response to the Manchester Arena terrorist attack.

Manchester also has a statue of Abraham Lincoln. It commemorates the working class support for him in the Civil War, despite the blockade of Confederate cotton that was crucial to the local economy.

In reply to Peter. Hi Peter. I can't find a reference to confirm this either way. I always interpreted the 2 years as more than enough to get through the renewal process, but there are still long processing delays. I'll keep looking, but hopefully it doesn't drag out too long.

Hi Brad, I started my Nexus renewal in April and the grace period message no longer states an 18-24 month grace period but a general “we are extending the grace period to allow you continued full benefits…” Does this mean the grace period is no longer limited?
