You can spot them checking into a five star hotel in sweatpants and t-shirts too demanding suites in a nice way even though they used points.
It really depends on what region of the world that you are in.As a Lifetime Titanium I have had spectacular service and great upgrades in Singapore, Malaysia,Thailand, over the years,and as recently ad last year.
I am currently in the UAE in Dubai as an Ambassador ,and have had wonderful service and suite upgrades at every hotel I went to.
The service was better at some hotels than others,but that is a problem with management not Marriott Bonvoy.

I have 5 Upgrade nights that I am unable to use despite trying 7 different times since reaching a USLESS Titanium status. Marriott always had a reason why the suites were not available. They just lost my business and I think they should reward those of us stuck with the useless Suite upgrade certificates.
