Thanks for this info, Mike. My husband is a disabled vet and we had hoped to visit Merida, Mexico but just recently he has had three falls and we have cancelled. The message we got back is that it takes 1-5 business days for the process and we are booked to fly this Thursday, January 9th. Cannot get a human being at AA!!!! Stressed out. Any suggestions? You now have to mail your vouchers to an office in Florida. I do not plan to be voluntarily bumped from American Airlines any more.

CTOs started to vanish with the downturn and cutbacks after 9.11, and with the increased functionality of airline web sites. Do any other CTOs exist for AA, UA or DL?
