I don’t remember the scent, but to be honest I probably wasn’t paying attention. Their website says “You can smell the sweet and heady scent while relaxing in the lobby or the inner garden.” You might want to call them to ask.

My only ‘issue’ was that even the ‘cheap’ room service breakfast was pushing $65 (USD) for two.

We tend to like to relax and have breakfast in the room, so I did manage to find a great local bakery (turn right out of the hotel and just wander). By my third day visiting the bakery (and speaking nearly no French), the woman behind the counter just starting filling a bag with the best pastries of the day and some bread… 10 euro later and I was good to go.
