Different parts of the Etihad website say different things, but in practice, no stopovers for free.

Good point. It would be 94,500 Avios so cheaper with a transfer bonus (vs 88,000 on Etihad, though EY allows one-way bookings for half price while IB doesn’t I think). I don’t believe IB charges fuel surcharge so taxes would be cheaper. That said, I had expiring Etihad Guest miles (about 50,000) from a canceled ticket and so it made sense to book through them
