Actually, you do, just checked….think verbiage above isn’t quite conveyed clearly. It’s just the upgrades to FC/Delta One that process later.

Ummm…guess I’ll have to stay with AA. When did that change take place?

Thanks for the input. I was afraid that would be the case. Silver is a bit of an added bonus in the sense that it’s not my immediate goal. As a Canadian, Delta partners with WestJet and booking an award trip on WestJet using Delta miles is a bit of a sweet spot for us, so I’m putting some decent spend on my Delta branded card to rack up some miles. The Silver status will come as a result of that.

Sorry, it is not worth it at all. In the last six months I qualified for American Gold, then United Silver and finally Delta Silver Medallion statuses. Delta offered the least amount of perks and have not received an upgrade yet. Both American and United offered way more upgrades including some transcons in lie flat seats. Delta locks out seat assignments at the 24 hour mark where on both American and United you can upgrade to better seats all the way to boarding time.

I have never been upgrade on a Delta flight where on both American and United, more than half the times I have including on 777/787s with lie flat seats.

“Diamond” is missing from this sentence: “To waive the MQD requirement for Delta Medallion status, you’ll need to spend $250,000”
